:: Lace Happy

When I bought a dresser for my clothes, I wanted to put some umph into it.  I had some lace from the fabric store and I had spraypaint. So I thought why not do it up with style.

I taped off the border (drawer is black) and I picked out some colors that would go with my room.  My walls are White Chocolate and a rich Brown.

I taped the lace down over the borders that were already taped so it was tight to make sure of an even flow of paint.

I sprayed a teal, then a little bit of black (because the teal was bright) and then a shot of cream colored paint.

Thus this effect came out on my Laced Dresser Drawer:

I really like how the colors are sporadic and doesn't look like a cookie cutter job.
I ended up getting spray paint & lace happy.  See for yourself:
Laced Ottomon (with my initial)
I tried to do a stencil but it didn't come out so well.
My three tired shelf.
This was a wood shelf design.  I sprayed the top and bottom shelf with black spray paint and the middle shelf is just plain black. (I know you love my decorations that are multi-purposed).
Next I did a few Laced Picture Frames:
The first is of me and my niece (I got the frame from Ikea).
The second is of my grandfather (I bought the black frame at the dollar store).
Then I took it the the kitchen.  I was just experimenting.  Can you guess what I did?
Laced Kitchen Chairs!
I did it in purple.  I plan on painting the table with mexican or some other type of designs to mix in.  Or I just might spray a new design all over!  I'm keeping it for now because my niece likes the design and she likes purple she says.
