:: Canvas: Geisha Muerte
Well it ain't so much of a Muerta as she is a Geisha.
This is her story:
She's had battles and she's been through it all and it shows.
She has tattoos of Cherry Blossoms and the Biwa. She has a decrative comb on her right side of her hair and a flower and chop sticks in the left. She has battle scars underneath her eye and across her lips. She is the Chola in Japan.
With all that she's still lovely.
I see myself in this. My almond eyes, red lips, battle scars (mine are on the inside) and tattoo's. Someone said her eyes are like mine. Conniving. Hmmm.

:: Muerte Cholo
I love Dia De Los Muertos.
It's my culture and you can be really creative with the designs.
Like a lame-o I sold this for HELLA CHEAP! $10.00 because I'm a sucker. I'm a buyer not a seller. I think I could have gotten way more. I sold some other ones to a chick at work. And one I gave to an artist as a trade and I never got my trade. sigh.
To create this I took off the dumb felt pattern on this skull I found at a grocery store. It had round crooked felt eyes a weird nose and lines for teeth.
I Used Yarn from the Fabric Store and glue gunned that sucker for his "Vato" Mustach. I painted his eyeballs with a Brown Acrylic but it looked weird so I glue gunned him some Rosas for ojos.
And I have him a hat and Calalillies because I wanted to use em. He' ended up having his head sitting on top of a piece of a Serape (that I had my friend make into an apron). He also lights up.
